Hello friend!
My baby is one today! I can’t believe it! Well, I can really… Yes, OK the first year goes buy fast but it also goes by very very very slowly…. It seems like a decade ago I was breastfeeding for hours, staring out the window at a snowy abyss. I can’t believe it was just a few months ago. Yikes.
It’s so amazing how at this age they change day by day. He has just started to hand me stuff (versus just throwing it on the floor) and deliberately perform actions like put toys in the back of a dump truck. By far the funniest thing he does is to take the food he is chewing out of his mouth if I put something he prefers more on his tray. Oh Alex.
This week has FLOWN past again and I truly enjoyed the warmer weather (even if it was rainy some days). I completed a major project which is a relief and I feel more relaxed (and less crazzzzzy).
This weekend we are having a little party for Alex… it’ll be no Pinterest party but he’ll have his little friends and I’m sure it will be fun. And that’s all that matters doesn’t it.
