Alex is one year old and I can’t believe it! He’s such a sweetheart. When he was born he had such a softer temperament than his brother it was a bit of a shock to us. Although he came into his own a little while later, he’s definitely a cutie and we just love him to bits.
I invited all Alex’s little buddies (most were born within two months of him!) and it was so cute to see them playing together.
I pretty much went with the colours in these cute cake toppers I bought from amazing Mile End paper shop Boucle et Papier. It definitely had a first birthday feel to it!
Bastien helped blow out the candles and was so proud. It was pretty exciting for him too. We were a bit worried as the night before he was freaking out, I think because the party wasn’t for him, but it all ended well.
And it’s clear that little Alex inherited his Papa’s sweet tooth. That cake!

ps I used this frosting which is my go-to and it was amazing. That texture!
