Teething Baby

Alex is just like his brother was and wants to chew on EVERYTHING and pull on EVERYTHING.  He’s in my arms a lot and I’ve pretty much given up trying to wear any delicate necklaces as I’m afraid he’s going to just rip them off my neck.  The other day I tried a chunkier necklace (this one from J Crew) and he just started gnawing on it.  I gave up and took it off.

Then I remembered my friend wearing a teething necklace.  To me, it’s the best solution to actually dressing up a little and having something that works with a little one.  Plus, there are so many nice options out there these days.  If you’re curious – I bought this one.

ps Do you use an amber teething necklace for your baby?  There’s a bit of controversy if it’s safe or not (or it if even works – but I some moms swear by it.)
