A friend of mine introduced me to Montreal based June Swimwear a while ago and I really fell in love with it.
They are known for their bootykini which is pretty damn hot but I’m afraid my bootykini days are behind me.
Instead I love the cut of their tops which offer a fair amount of coverage (well some of the models like the Jade Top above) but are still pretty cute. That criss-cross back is gorgeous and I feel like their swimwear keeps all the bits in place. Perfect for when your days of lying still reading a book are behind you and running after toddlers and bending down all the time are in your future. I also love the patterns they use and the fact that it’s all mix and match. It’s also not outrageously expensive.
Personally I like the thought of using these gorgeous pieces as motivation to get my booty in gear for fun days at the pool where I don’t feel totally self conscious like I want to slink back into my maternity swimwear.
I can’t wait to see their new collection which comes out in March!
Check out their website here.
minihammer bathing suits i love, and they are made here in Montreal. Also much more forgiving to an after 2 babies body like mine or any body really . http://mimihammer.com/
Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check it out.
Haha! I too think bootykini days are behind me… Unless I start starving myself and workout 3 hours a day starting now to be ready for summer. Not sure I feel like doing this sacrifice though!
But yes, they are definitely cute swimwears!
