Buck 15 – Coffee & Toast in St-Henri

I had the pleasure of interviewing Roy Riettie who owns the newly opened Buck 15 cafe in St-Henri with his wife Jodi for a recent article in Urban Expressions.  What a great guy with a great story!  He offered me some coffee, some amazing sourdough toast with massive amounts of nutella, powdered sugar and himalayan salt and we talked about his ups and downs, why toast, and his love of design.

I will add that the place is baby friendly, and in fact there was a baby and stroller there while I was there.  There’s a slight stair to get in the door, but nothing us mamas can’t handle.  Unfortunately the bathroom is fairly small and doesn’t have a change table but there’s lots of room for a stroller.  And the Riettie’s have 4 kids… so they get it.
