Get Crafty, Get Quilting!

When I decided to spend a month at our family cottage, I knew I needed some projects.

I am a project type of person (hence…. this blog).  And I had the perfect project!

For this past Christmas my mom bought me the World DIY Quilt Kit from Haptic Lab.  It’s a super easy way to quilt and is basically three fabrics layered over top of another that you embroider.  I found it very rhythmic and relaxing, much in the same way I find knitting or cooking.  I made quite a bit of progress, but I think this is a multi-year summer project.  Who knew there were so many islands?  And northern Canada??  Not looking forward to that one – give me Africa any day!
