OK, so nothing has been officially put up yet, but from my sleuthing food trucks can be found at the Lachine Canal during the week (and I assume the weekend too but unconfirmed) from 11:30 – 2:30 at the following locations:
- Mill Street & De La Commune (close to where Muvbox is)
- Peel Basin (this is at the end of Peel just to the west of the Bonaventure and de la Commune)
- Ilôt des Eclusiers – OK from what I understand if you check out google maps this is near where Square Saint-Patrick is at Rue Saint Columban and St. Patrick
- Ilôt Charlevoix – This is on the Lachine Canal to the west of the Charlevoix bridge. So if you are at Atwater Market and cross that walking bridge and continue east you’ll see it. It’s convenient as the trucks are parked near a little rain shelter.
So far, I’ve only been to the Charlevoix location (and frankly, as it’s the most convenient I doubt I’ll be visiting the others). Trucks will be rotating and it seems like they will be 1-2 days in one location, and then rotating through the other locations.
As well, according to sources you should be able to follow food truck movements both on the Association des Restaurateurs de Rue du Quebec website and the Street Food App. The ARRQ does not have it’s page up yet, and the Street Food App has a few bugs yet…
