Over the holidays we decided to continue our adventure exploring the great activities Montreal has for kids (see other posts here) and headed up north to Laval.
Our stop was the Children’s Museum of Laval (Musée pour infants de Laval). It was a hit.
The museum is two levels and I would say it’s aimed at the younger set. My 3 and 1 year old loved it. The museum is full of everything your kid ever wanted to do. Sitting in a police car, checking out the inside of an ambulance, singing on a stage, fishing, riding a (fake) horse and there’s way more.
Ever felt like throwing your kid in jail? They’ve got that too.
There are plenty of costumes for dress up and lots of interaction and imaginative play time.
The biggest hit though?
Who knew grocery shopping would be such a hit! Too bad they aren’t always this enthusiastic when I take them.
By the time we headed home (kicking and screaming) both boys were absolutely exhausted.
Of course this little guy fell asleep in the car. But isn’t he cute.
This was a huge hit and I would definitely consider going back. Oh, and if your kid runs away and you can’t find them? Try the top floor of the rocket ship.

Have you ever been to the Musée pour Enfants? What did you think?
ps. Considering that I want to take family photos professionally, I thought I would up my game and pull out the big guns (my big camera) so I could show all you guys (my potential clients!) what I can do. I always thought with two kids it would be unmanageable, but it was totally fine. What do you guys think? Do you like the images?
