Kids love meatballs, but I’m not always so stoked about making them. Handling the raw meat, mixing the ingredients, forming the balls… ugh. I’m down for it if I’m going to make a ton and freeze some but it’s not exactly a quick weeknight meal. Unless you use this method…
Just buy some sausages, open at one end, and squeeze out walnut size chunks. Fry until cooked. That’s it. I usually get around 3 balls per sausage.
Once the sausages are browned, I’ll throw in my jarred pasta sauce to heat it up and cook the meatballs until done. Serve with your favourite pasta and some vegetables on the side and you’re done!
Note: Make sure you don’t buy ready cooked sausages or this won’t work.
