I was absolutely thrilled when I opened my door on a cold winter’s day to find a brown paper package sitting for me in my mailbox. I opened it up and found the cutest box of gifts for my little boy from Buddhi Baby.
Buddhi Baby was started by an old friend of mine, Harmony, and her business partner and fellow buddhi mama Candyce. Harmony and I met AGES ago at the University of Alberta in Danish class. We had both been on a Rotary exchange to Denmark and we were probably only two of 20 people on campus who spoke Danish. Let’s just say it’s not the most common language… which leads you to pretty much be able to talk about anyone and anything and be pretty rest assured they won’t understand!
So, I was so excited to see that she had started this amazing company which sells all sorts of gift boxes from the newborn gift box (above), to Mama gift boxes, and bump gift boxes (and more). Each box is lovingly curated with handmade items which are mostly made right in Canada. They are unisex and modern and really hip.
Isn’t it all so sweet? I loved everything from the Manitobah Mukluks, the NeeMu Baby Bamboo Infinity Blanket, the Carly Megan Scratch Mittens and that cute Vonbon Knotted Hat. I think Alex liked it too! They also included their own brew of tea which is perfect for cold afternoons.
I really think these gift boxes are such a great idea full of original and modern gifts to give that include some amazing independent producers.
