Think Fast Tank / Energy Bra / Runday Crop
Some days I need a little motivation.

Some things come easy to me. For example, I’ll easily whip up some muffins without even thinking about it or power through loads of laundry sorting, folding and putting away like a pro. I can edit and post photos on my phone in seconds.
But sometimes I need a little extra push to do other things. I am a bit of a homebody and a bit lazy when it comes to working out. I know I will always feel better when I get moving but I need that little kick to get me going.

Nothing makes me feel better about myself and motivates me to get moving than an outfit that fits in the right places and looks great. Let’s all admit it – would you rather work out in gross old jogging pants and that oversize shirt you bought back in the 90’s? No. Not me anyways. Give me something beautiful and stylish that I’m going to look forward to wearing. That’s my exercise motivation.
Where do I usually go? It’s almost always lululemon… they always have such beautiful stuff that is both practical and looks good.

I was invited to the store to check out their technical clothing and found I was spoiled for choice. I tried on quite a few tops and bottoms and loved so much of it. It really is gorgeous stuff with details like laser cutting, beautiful and unexpected patterns and sheering in all the right places.
I ended up choosing this combo which I loved:
Think Fast Tank – I tried on quite a few tops and loved the fit and fabric of this top best. It wasn’t too tight in the tummy area and I liked the neckline. It’s also great because it’s a year round piece. You can layer it for outdoor use or wear it on it’s own in the summer or for getting sweaty inside.
Energy Bra – I definitely need a well fitting bra right now and this one fit so well. It was tight without feeling like it chafed and it offered enough coverage so that I didn’t feel like I was going to fall out all over the place. It’s made with Luxtreme® fabric which will wick away all your sweat.
Runday Crop – I liked these crops for so many reasons. First off, the pattern is such a nice change from your usual black but still neutral enough to fit with pretty much anything. I also like all the sheering on the waist (see photo on lululemon’s website here) and around the calf and zip. It also has a draw string waste so as I start to lose my tummy, the crops will still remain snug and fit me properly. They are light and tight but still have enough support to hold everything in place. They are basically everything I want in a workout crop!
The next step is is actually using these clothes to work out in. As soon as I get the OK from my doc (so important ladies!) I’m off to TrèsStudio for their Mom & Baby Barre class. I’m nervous about how out of shape I am but excited to try it out, get some energy back and sport my new duds. Post to come soon!
Remember, that if you are looking for casual clothes lululemon has a huge selection too. Check out my previous post here.
Thank-you lululemon for the experience and the clothes!
