This morning, I appeared on City TV’s Breakfast Television to talk about my tips for eating out with a toddler. A huge thank-you to everyone who watched and to Pinkblue for the products!
Here is the link to watch my segment!
Here are my tips, the products I suggested and some toddler friendly restaurants!
Top 5 Tips for Eating out with a Toddler:
1. Select the right restaurant
2. Be realistic about what works for your child.
Tip: Skip the appetizer & dessert and only order a main.
Tip: Bring your diapers and wipes in a portable change clutch
3. Go early
4. Bring (silent) entertainment for your child
Ex. Colouring books, crayons, little cars, books, straws, finger puppets
Tip: Attach toys to a high chair using a toy leash
5. Bring feeding supplies & a portable high chair for your child
Feeding supplies: Utensils, bib, bowls, sippy cup, place mat, high chair
Portable food: fruit, bread, pasta, cheese
Tip: Bring a freezer bag to carry all dirty items in one place.
