I’m so proud to introduce a new Montreal-based online destination for amazing children’s clothing – When We Wear Young.
The owner Minna is a friend of mine that comes from the fashion industry and has fantastic taste. She carries so many lovely brands, and because she’s in Canada you don’t have to pay for crazy shipping and duties.
There are a few things that I love about her store. First off, her clothing is pretty unique and lovely. It’s functional and practical. It’s also very mix and match and very high quality. This means you don’t have to buy a lot of items and can mix them together.
I was talking with someone the other day about kids clothing now that I have two children. I said that I would rather spend a lot more on something I loved and was going to last. It’s more affordable for me to buy high quality that my kids can wear for years and that I can both pass down and pass on, then something cheap that gets a hole in it after a few washes and I have to throw out. I have some lovely sweaters I paid a little more for that my oldest son is on his second year with, and I know my youngest will get a few years out of too. Plus, I feel confident passing it on for more kids to wear.
Also, I hate having too much kids clothes. I don’t know about you, but my kids just throw everything around when they pick their clothes and the less that gets tossed around the better.
