We’ve gone for a lot of ice cream this summer, and Ca Lem is by far one of our favourites. Ca Lem, which means ice cream in Vietnamese, offers a variety of both exotic (sesame, taro, green tea, coco ash) and familiar (nutella, etc.) flavours along with some great sorbets. They offer a weekly soft serve/sorbet swirl which is beyond addictive and surprising. Every week I’m kind of blown away by the flavour combinations and colours.
I seriously hope they stay open over the winter, because I can see myself heading there all year long.

Details: There is a long picnic bench inside which we usually sit on, and a couple picnic benches out front. We’ve never had an issue with on street parking. Usually we don’t have to wait but it is getting more popular.
