Sometimes I forget how fascinating the changing of seasons can be. It really is remarkable how we can go from +40C to -40C in a matter of a few weeks. I can get a little bit down about this but I think that seeing the excitement through the eyes of a child reminds us that the turning of the leaves is not a sign of doom and gloom but fun snow days and outdoor adventure.

The key to enjoying winter (besides a positive attitude) is dressing warmly and dressing appropriately. Anyone will tell you that our winters demand layers, quality clothing and warmth. I’ve worn Kombi for years (they make the best ski mitts – these are my fave) and I was lucky to be able to dress up my son in their warm & high quality clothing.
