Wandering around the Souk @ Sat last week seeing all those hard working artisans standing beside their stands made me realize how important it is to try and support small businesses when we can. Man it’s a tough world out there, and choosing where we spend our money is so important. I think that Bernard Arnault has enough coin in his change purse (even though I still covet so many of the brands in his LVMH group!)
Here are a few of my jewelry picks.
June Designs out of Ste-Agathe (a small town north of Montreal) has some gorgeous dainty rings including these stacking rings that I think are so sweet.
The Angry Weather has all sorts of cool, somewhat weather related jewelry. I especially like this triangle necklace, and this desert rock stacking ring.
Oyeloria also out of Montreal has all sorts of cool colourful bracelets that I love. They’re perfect for piling up on your wrist.
Maksym caught my eye at souk @ sat and I love the edgy but wearable look of her jewelry. She also has some gorgeous earrings including these gold coral pentagon earrings I adore.
Melanie Favreau offers super simple geometric pieces at very affordable prices with the above earrings coming in at only just over $10.
Byloumi has delicate lightweight white porcelain pieces which have a retro beauty to them. This necklace stands out but is still very classic.
Lepun offers all sorts of colourful shiny jewels. She’s in the Ukraine so I’d put in your orders sooner rather than later!
Frieda Sophie has a variety of gem inspired jewelry including this delicate necklace above made with aquamarine nuggets.
Makepienotwar offers this delicate necklace which is customizable with whatever initials you want. So cute, and very subtle.
