A while back I wrote how there was no Canadian subscription box service for Moms and how it would make such a great gift in the early dark days of motherhood. I know that for me when baby was little I loved receiving stuff in the mail. It gave me something to look forward to when things were tough. Well, I was recently contacted by the founder of MommiesFirst informing me that such a subscription service had just been launched!
MommiesFirst is made up of the MommiesFirst Council which is comprised of parents and baby experts to find, test and review the huge amount of baby and mom focused products. Based on their feedback, they send expectant and new moms monthly care packages with 4-5 different types of products to help them navigate through the journey of motherhood. This allows them to discover the best products for themselves and their babies!
This sounds like a great idea and I think in addition to first time moms, it would make a great gift for moms who already have a child and are expecting again. It’s hard to think up gift ideas for them since they have most of their bases covered in terms of newborn essentials.
