While taking part in a workshop at L’Atelier du coin de la rue, I had the chance to find out about Me, Myself and Montreal’s subscription boxes from founder Florence Goletti.
These curated boxes are filled with beautiful and crafty goods from Montreal-based artists. I had a chance to take a look at a few sample boxes, which are also available for purchase at L’Atelier du coin de la rue, and was really impressed.
At only $27 (including shipping) per month the variety and quality of items is really good. There are so many fantastic Montreal-based artists and companies and this is a great way to discover them.
Some of the boxes have a DIY crafty element to them, while others may include jewelry, mugs or beauty products.
I think this is a great alternative to many of the other subscription boxes out there which often include plain old drugstore samples that you could have gone out and just bought yourself. The variety of goods makes it much more of a surprise and the fact that these are all local or independently owned companies that you may be discovering for the first time makes it all the more fun.
