Chef Danny Smiles of Le Bremner
I’m so pleased to announce a fantastic giveaway for a $200 gift certificate to Le Bremner restaurant in Old Montreal! I loved my experience at Le Bremner and even Lesley Chesterman gave it a good review this past February.
A cool vibe, cocktails with home made flavoured sodas (alcohol is included in the gift certificate!), great food and a fun location make this restaurant a pretty hot ticket. Don’t forget it’s also owned by Chuck Hughes with Top Chef Finalist Danny Smiles in the kitchen.
All this hoopla is to celebrate the announcement that Chef Danny Smiles will be representing Canada in the 14th annual S.Pellegrino Cooking Cup in Italy. It’s the first time that a Canadian chef will be present at this prestigious international competition. The main event has chefs cooking up a storm in a sailboat galley while racing around the Venetian lagoon which sounds both difficult and beautiful.
The main event takes place June 14th, so have a thought for Danny that day! At least he’ll be able to yell out orders in English, French or Italian which should give him a little bit of an advantage.

My husband and I went recentlyto celebrate a special occasion and really enjoyed ourselves, it’s super cute and the cocktails are very creative! We would love to go back and experience it again with friends!

It’s the restaurant where I had my last date night before the baby was due!!!!! It’s amazing!!!! I also watched top chef canada just to see Danny smiles!!!! So glad he made it to the end!!! He is super talented! It is by far my favorite restaurant in montreal!
