When we think of summer, we think of warm weather, sunshine and picnics. For a unique take on a classic, you will be the hit of the picnic with this Steak Thai Summer Salad!
Ingredients
2 lbs steak
½ cup Thai Kitchen Premium Fish Sauce
1 Tbsp Thai Kitchen Red Curry Paste
Salad mix of kale, romaine lettuce, sprouts and cabbage.
Instructions
Marinate steaks in fish sauce for 30 minutes in the fridge.
Sear steaks on either side in a hot pan. Reduce heat to medium and add the fish sauce marinade. Cook on medium-heat until steak is cooked almost to your desired temperature (it will cook a bit more in the oven.)
Place steaks in a roasting pan and coat with red curry paste. Roast for 3 minutes a side.
Let steak stand for a few minutes to collect juices and cool off.
Slice steak. Add to salad mix. Top with fish sauce drippings from pan!
