I also realized that I have so many pregnant friends it is getting out of hand.  A friend of mine had to actually create a spreadsheet to keep track of due dates and who had made it public!

A lot of these moms are on their second time around (or third!) and it’s tough to know what to get them.  You kind of feel like you don’t want to just add to their pile of ‘stuff’.  That’s why I think something a bit more unique works well.  That and baking of course (what breastfeeding mom is going to turn down a loaf cake!)

Sick of that diaper bag you’ve been carrying around for years?  I like this little number…. just throw in some diapers, a change pad, a million other things and you’re good to go!

I fell in love with Danish company Flensted while living in Denmark (funnily enough) and we have their elephant mobile in our bedroom.  Bastien loves looking at it and yelling “pha! pha!” (elephant elephant).  This balloon version is cute too!

I can’t believe I just discovered Melissa’s gorgeous quilts – especially as she is located right here in Montreal!  What a gorgeous keepsake to pass down through the generations.
